Our story
From copper & PABX to full-stack ICT.
dB Data Comms Ltd began in the 1980s delivering copper Ethernet and small PABX systems — robust hardware, clean installs and tidy 1308 cabling that “just worked.” As technology moved from token ring to 100Mbit Ethernet and now multi-gig networks, we’ve grown with it: fibre backbones, enterprise Wi-Fi, VoIP, AV and point-to-point links.
Today we act as your first point of contact across multiple vendors, removing the hassle of coordinating different suppliers. We look at what you have, re-use where it makes sense, and specify new where it genuinely improves outcomes.
1980s: Token ring & early Ethernet; sturdy PABX on sturdier walls.
2000s: Structured cabling & switching become core; VoIP enters the stack.
2010s: Fibre, Wi-Fi controllers, heat-mapping & validation surveys.
Today: End-to-end ICT — AV, VoIP, Wi-Fi, fibre & cabling with programme-led delivery.
