VoIP phone systems — keep your numbers, gain modern control.

Move off ageing ISDN and PABX lines onto a hosted VoIP platform: same numbers, clearer call flows, softphones or desk phones, call recording, queues and reporting. Installed across the North West and UK-wide with minimal disruption — and ahead of the 2027 PSTN switch-off.

Modern VoIP phone system — desk handsets and softphone setup
Overview

Modern business phone systems, without the line rental.

We move UK businesses off legacy phone lines onto hosted VoIP — voice carried over your internet connection instead of copper. Keep your existing numbers, run them on a desk phone, mobile or browser, and add features like IVR, call recording and reporting in minutes. We deploy hosted platforms, Microsoft Teams Phone and 3CX, sized to your team, and tie them into reliable business internet and tidy structured cabling so calls land cleanly. North West and UK-wide.

The 2027 switch-off

The old phone network is being switched off.

Openreach is retiring the UK's analogue phone network (PSTN) and ISDN on 31 January 2027. After that, traditional landlines, ISDN2e and ISDN30 circuits simply stop working — and new copper lines have been on “stop-sell” since September 2023, so you can no longer add to or modify them. The replacement is VoIP carried over fibre. The good news: you keep your numbers, you usually cut your call and line-rental costs, and we manage the whole migration for you. The catch is timing — engineer availability tightens the closer it gets, so the sensible move is now.

What you're dealing with

The pain of an ageing phone system.

Old PABX pain

Can't work from home, no call recording, busy tones — and you're paying for lines you barely use.

Admin friction

Simple changes — IVR, opening hours, a new user — need an engineer visit and a bill.

Risk & downtime

No failover if the line dies, and ageing hardware nobody wants to touch.

The fix

How hosted VoIP changes the day-to-day.

Hosted VoIP

Numbers move to SIP. Users run a desk phone, mobile or browser, and you add features in minutes — no site visit.

Modern call flows

IVR, queues, hunt groups, time rules, voicemail-to-email, call recording and analytics, all self-serve.

Built-in resilience

Carrier failover and 4G/router backup so calls keep landing even if the site connection drops.

Choose the right route

Three common setups we deploy.

Hosted VoIP (per-user)

Simple, flexible and fast to deploy. Ideal for most offices and multi-site teams.

Quick answers

What most teams ask us.

What is the PSTN/ISDN switch-off and how does it affect us?
Openreach is switching off the UK's analogue phone network (PSTN) and ISDN on 31 January 2027. After that, traditional landlines and ISDN2e/ISDN30 lines stop working, and you can't order or change copper lines now anyway because of the 2023 stop-sell. If your phones still run on those lines, you need to move to VoIP before the deadline — we handle the migration and keep your numbers.
Can we keep all our phone numbers?
Yes. We port all your numbers to SIP with a scheduled cutover, so you keep the numbers your customers already know. We can also split or rationalise ranges if you want fewer lines.
Do we need new handsets?
Not always. Many clients move to a softphone plus a headset on the desk or laptop. If you prefer physical desk phones, we'll spec compatible models and the PoE to power them.
Do you support Microsoft Teams Phone and SIP trunks?
Yes. We deliver Microsoft Teams Phone with direct routing so Teams becomes your phone system, hosted VoIP on a per-user basis, and 3CX or hybrid setups with on-site SIP gateways where deeper contact-centre features or local control are needed.
What about call recording and compliance?
Recording, retention rules and access controls can be enabled per-queue or per-user. We'll set policies that fit your sector, whether that's quality monitoring or regulated call capture.
How long does it take?
Small offices are usually a matter of days. Multi-site or contact-centre rollouts are phased over weeks. We often cut over at weekends to avoid disrupting your working day.
