Enterprise Wi-Fi survey and access point installation on a commercial site
Overview

Enterprise Wi-Fi, surveyed and proven.

We design and install business Wi-Fi that holds up under real-world load — planned with predictive RF modelling, validated on-site with a wireless heat-map survey, then tuned access point by access point. From open-plan offices to high-racked warehouses and busy production floors, every deployment runs on certified structured cabling and is handed over with heat-maps, test results and as-built drawings. We work with UniFi, Cisco Small Business, Aruba and Ruckus across the North West and the wider UK.

Quick answers

The questions we’re asked first.

How much does it cost?

It depends on site size and access point count. We scope from drawings and give a fixed price with a test pack and as-builts — get a fast quote.

How long does it take?

Small offices take days. Warehouses and production floors are phased over nights and weekends to avoid disruption.

What’s included?

Predictive and validation surveys, AP placement, cabling, labelling, controller tuning, test results and as-built drawings.

Why DB Data Comms

Why choose us for Enterprise Wi-Fi.

Coverage you can prove

We plan with predictive models, then validate on-site — so the final heat-map matches reality, not a brochure.

Resilient backhaul

Robust fibre and Cat6A uplinks, neat cabinets and labelled patching that future engineers will thank you for.

Less noise, more throughput

Channel plans, TX power and band-steering tuned to your floorplan — not a one-size-fits-all template.

FAQs

Enterprise Wi-Fi, answered.

What is a wireless heat-map survey?
It’s a map of your actual Wi-Fi signal strength across the building. We model coverage predictively from your drawings, then validate it on-site with survey kit so the final heat-map reflects real conditions — walls, racking, interference and all — rather than a best-guess layout.
How many access points does my site need?
It depends on floor area, construction, device density and what those devices do — a warehouse with scanners has very different needs to a meeting-heavy office. The survey gives a defensible AP count and placement rather than over- or under-speccing, which keeps both cost and interference down.
Do you work with UniFi, Cisco and Aruba?
Yes — we regularly deploy UniFi and Cisco Small Business, and we’re comfortable with Aruba and Ruckus. We’ll spec what fits the site, the budget and your existing kit rather than pushing a single vendor.
Can you install Wi-Fi in a warehouse or on a production floor?
That’s a lot of what we do. High-racked, high-interference and industrial spaces need careful AP placement, antenna choice and channel planning — we survey for it specifically and install around live operations with phased, out-of-hours works where needed.
Can you work out of hours?
We can. Many fit-outs happen overnight or over weekends to keep operations running, with a clean changeover to go-live.
What documentation do we get at handover?
Every project includes labelling, test results, validation heat-maps, as-built drawings and admin credentials as agreed — so your network is maintainable from day one.
