Cut through the noise
Horn and projection speakers positioned for coverage over machinery, conveyors and forklifts, with separate zones for the yard, loading bays and offices.
We design and install site-wide PA and paging for warehouses, factories, schools and offices across Lancashire and the North West — zoned so the right message reaches the right area, loud enough to cut through machinery, and simple enough that anyone can make an announcement.
A good PA system is designed around the building, not the brochure. The number, type and position of speakers are chosen for the space and its background noise, the site is split into zones so announcements only go where they're needed, and the controls are simple enough that anyone can use them without training.
Get those right and people hear the message first time. Get them wrong and you have a loud system nobody can understand.
The same announcement needs a very different system in a 10,000 m² distribution centre, a school corridor and an open-plan office. We survey first and design for the space, the noise and how you'll use it.

Ceiling and wall speakers for classrooms, halls and corridors, with zones for whole-site announcements, single buildings or the playground.
Ceiling speakers for paging and background music that blend into the space, controlled from a desk phone or a simple wall panel.
A PA system is only as good as its weakest link. We look after the whole chain, from where the announcement starts to the speaker that delivers it.
| Element | What we look at | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Speakers | Type, power and position for the room size, ceiling height and noise level | Coverage and intelligibility — not just volume |
| Zoning | Which areas need separate or grouped announcements | Messages reach the right people without disturbing everyone else |
| Microphones & paging | Desk mics, wall panels, or paging from VoIP phones | Anyone can make an announcement from where they already are |
| Amplification | Power headroom for the whole speaker load | Clear sound at full volume, with room to extend later |
| Background audio | Music sources and level by zone | A better environment for staff and visitors |
| Cabling & containment | Routes, fixings and labelling | A system that's tidy, safe and easy to maintain |
A PA system for paging and announcements is different from a voice alarm system, which is part of the building's fire evacuation strategy and has to meet BS 5839-8 for design, installation and maintenance.
If your fire strategy relies on spoken evacuation messages, we'll tell you at survey and work alongside your fire alarm contractor so the systems are properly linked — rather than install a PA and leave you assuming it covers evacuation.
Most of the work in a PA system that sounds good happens before a single speaker goes up.
We walk the site, measure the spaces and note the background noise in each area.
Speaker types and positions, zones, amplification and controls, agreed with you.
Cabling, containment and speakers installed around your operation, out of hours if needed.
Levels set zone by zone and tested with real announcements in working conditions.
Simple user guidance, zone schedules and as-built drawings for your records.
Modern PA increasingly runs over the network and connects to the phone system. Because we also install structured cabling, telephony and links between buildings, the PA is designed into the same infrastructure rather than bolted on afterwards.
Tell us about the site and how you need to use announcements, and we'll arrange a survey.
It depends on the size and shape of each area, the ceiling height and how noisy it is when the site is working. A quiet office needs far fewer, smaller speakers than a busy warehouse floor. We work it out at survey so you get even coverage without dead spots or deafening hotspots.
Usually, yes. Most modern VoIP phone systems can page through the PA, so anyone can make an announcement to a zone by dialling it. We can also fit dedicated desk microphones or wall panels.
Yes. Zoning is one of the most useful parts of a PA system. You can make announcements to a single area — the yard, a building, a floor — or to the whole site at once.
That's exactly what the design is for. We choose speakers and positions for the noise level in each area and set levels during commissioning while the site is working, so announcements are clear over machinery, not just loud.
Only if it's designed and installed as a voice alarm system to BS 5839-8 and linked to the fire alarm. A standard PA system isn't a voice alarm. We'll check your fire strategy at survey and work with your fire alarm contractor where evacuation messages are needed.
Often, yes. We can extend coverage to new areas, add zones, replace failing speakers or amplifiers and connect it to a new phone system, rather than replacing everything.
In most cases, yes. Playing recorded music in a business usually needs TheMusicLicence from PPL PRS. We can set up the system for background music, but the licence is arranged by you.
Yes. Installs are planned around your operation, with evening and weekend work available so the site keeps running.
A PA system usually sits alongside the rest of the site's communications. These pages cover the systems it most often connects to.
Page the PA from any desk phone.
The network and containment the system runs on.
Cameras and recording installed and networked by the same team.
Reach speakers in outbuildings and yards without digging.
Networks and systems for big-shed sites.
Networks and Wi-Fi for schools, colleges and campuses.
Send us the type of site, the areas you need to cover and how you use announcements. We'll arrange a survey and come back with a design and a fixed price.
